> Uploading files to your Personal Web Space

Now that you have the design of your web page complete you will post or publish your web site. You will do this with any FTP program (ws_ftp and cuteFTP are popular), File Transfer Protocol. You will FTP your files to home.dejazzd.com Your FTP program will also ask you for your username and password, please make sure that you are using the same username and password that you use to get on the Internet.

Most FTP programs work like windows explorer. Where one half of the program is the files that are on your hard drive, the other side of the FTP program is the files that are sitting on the web server. Move files from your hard drive to the web server side (making sure they are going into the same folder name) and you have uploaded your site to the web server.
