6. To add your D&E Jazzd account click the Add button, select Mail and left click it once.

7. At this point the "Internet Connection Wizard" will appear. Now you will be prompted to add the "Internet email address"

a) Type in your name Ex. Jon Doe

b) Click Next
c) Select "I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use"
d) Type in your e-mail address. Ex: jdoe@dejazzd.com

e) Click Next

8) At this point you will add the "email server names"

a) The first option on the screen should say "my incoming mail server is a POP3 server" If this server is displayed as IMAP click on the dropdown arrow and select POP3
b) Type in pop.dejazzd.com for incoming (POP) mail
c) Type in smtp.dejazzd.com for outgoing (SMTP) mail
d) Click Next

9. At this point you will add the "Internet mail logon" information

a) Your Account Name will most likely be displayed without the domain. Ex: jdoe (Note: Be Sure that you add the domain after the account name). Ex: jdoe.dejazzd.com (Note: New customers & converted users as of January 3, 2006 use @dejazzd.com, users in Lancaster, York, and Harrisburg areas use .dejazzd.com, and all other area users use @dejazzd.com)
b) Go down to the next box and type in your password. (Note: Keep in mind that passwords are case sensitive)
c) If you want Outlook Express to remember your password, check the remember password box
d) Make sure that the box that says "log on using secure password authentication" is not checked.

e) Click Next
f) Click Finish

10. (THIS SECTION IS ONLY FOR USERS WHO HAVE A VERSION OF OUTLOOK EXPRESS OLDER THAN 5)

a) If you have a version of Outlook older than 5 it will ask you to create a "friendly name" for the account.
b) At this point you may type in a name to identify that particular account.
c) Click Next.
d) At this point you will be prompted to choose a way to connect to your mail.
e) Choose the option "I will establish my Internet connection manually."
f) Click Next.
g) Now click Finish to finalize your D&E Jazzd account

YOUR MAIL WILL BE SETUP NOW.
