3. To view mail account settings in Mozilla mail, click on
the “Edit” menu,
and select “Mail & newsgroup
account Settings”
4. In the Mail settings window highlight
your email address to view your contact information which
can be changed.
If your email address isn't listed here, jump
down to step 7.
5. In the Mail settings window highlight
“Server Settings”
to change your incoming mail server, and incoming server username.
The incoming mail server is pop.dejazzd.com
, and your username (Ex jdoe.dejazzd.com OR jdoe@dejazzd.com).
(Note: New customers & converted users as of January 3, 2006 use @dejazzd.com, users in Lancaster, York, and Harrisburg areas use .dejazzd.com, and all other area users use @dejazzd.com)
6. To edit the outgoing server settings highlight
“Outgoing Server (SMTP)”
The outgoing server should be set to smtp.dejazzd.com
. You will want to check the box that says “Use
name and password”. Enter your username (Ex. jdoe.dejazzd.com OR jdoe@dejazzd.com).
(Note: New customers & converted users as of January 3, 2006 use @dejazzd.com, users in Lancaster, York, and Harrisburg areas use .dejazzd.com, and all other area users use @dejazzd.com)
7. When setting up a new
account click the “Add Account”
button. That will open up the New Account Wizard.
NOTE – You must have a valid email
account before you set this up. If you have not set one up
through the Jazzd Members Section please do so first.
8. The first window of the account wizard
will appear. Select “Email account”,
and click “Next”.
9. Enter your name, and email address,
and click “Next”.
10. In the server information window select
“POP”. The incoming
server will be pop.dejazzd.com
. The outgoing server will be smtp.dejazzd.com
. Once these items have been entered click ”Next”.
11. The next window will ask you for your
username information. Enter your username (Ex. jdoe.dejazzd.com OR jdoe@dejazzd.com).

12. The account name will automatically appear
as your email address usually. This is acceptable. Click “Next”.
13. You will now see a window asking you to
verify your settings. If they are correct simply click “Finish”
to complete the process.
