6. Enter your D&E Jazzd local access number into the Phone Number Field.
(If you are looking for a number you can use to dial in to D&E Jazzd dial-up
internet service, click here to log in to the members section, access number search.)
7. Uncheck the box that says "Use Area Code And Dialing Properties" or "Use Area Code And Dialing Rules".
8. Click Next to proceed.
9. In the User Name field enter your username and password in the appropriate fields.
Username Formatting:
New customers & converted users as of January 3, 2006 use
Example: username@dejazzd.com
Lancaster, York, and Harrisburg Area users your login name will be in this format:
Example: username.dejazzd.com
All other areas your login name will be in this format:
Example: username@dejazzd.com
10. Click Next to proceed.
11. For the Connection Name we recommend erasing the default name that appears and
call the connection "dejazzd".
12. Click Next to proceed.
13. If you would like the Internet Connection Wizard to set up your email in Outlook Express, Select Yes,
click Next and follow this link.
If you would like to use a different email program, or do not want to setup email at this time select
No and click Next.
14. Click Finish on the Internet Connection Wizard.
At this point your computer should be ready to connect to the internet. You may
click on Internet Explorer to visit websites and you should automatically be
prompted to connect to the internet.
