4. Check the box next to Save password.
5. In the Number box, type your local access number.
(If you are looking for a number you can use to dial in to D&E Jazzd dial-up
internet service, click here to log in to the members section, access number search.)
6. Click on the Options button.
7. Click on the Protocol tab.
8. Click on the arrows box on the Use Protocol pop-up list and choose PPP.
9. Check the box next to Connect automatically when starting TCP/IP applications.
10. Click on the OK button.
11. Close the Remote Access window.
12. Click on the Save button.
13. From the Apple menu, click on Control Panel, and click on TCP/IP.
14. Click on the arrows box on the Connect via pop-up list and choose PPP.
15. Click on the arrows box on the Configure pop-up list and choose Using PPP Server.
Note: Leave the Domain Name Servers box blank and leave the Search Domains
box blank.
16. Close the TCP/IP window.
17. Click on the Save button.
At this point your mac should be ready to connect to the internet. You may
click on your web browser (usually Internet Explorer or Netscape) to visit
websites and you should automatically be connected to the internet.
