Content Filtering - Setup - Internet Explorer 5 &
6
After configuring content
filtering in the members section you will need to
configure your Internet Browser to work with the service.
Follow these instructions:
1. With Internet Explorer open click on the Tools
menu and click on Internet Options.
2. Click on the Connections tab.
3. Select your D&E Jazzd connection and click
on Settings.
(Note: The connection name may
vary, anything from “D&E Jazzd” to the
Connection Phone number.)
4. In the “Settings” window
under “Proxy server” check the box for “Use
a proxy server for this connection”. Click
on the Advanced button.
5. In the Proxy Settings window next to
HTTP type in contentfilter.dejazzd.com.
For the Port type in 3128.
6. Press OK in the Proxy Settings
window.
7. Press OK in the Settings window.
8. Press OK in the Internet Options window.
